- Psychology- Persecuting the Powerless: Witchcraft, Devil Worship and Demonic Possession
This talk will explore the how and why women have been used as scapegoats throughout history, through accusations of witchcraft, devil worship and demonic possession. It will uncover gendered power dynamics and misogyny in contemporary society to understand how our cultures, and beliefs blame women, and how this has continuously fuelled the persecution and punishment of the powerless.

I recently attended a witchcraft training in my proximity and I was extremely disappointed. The training was disorganized and lacked structure. The instructor seemed unprepared and was constantly fumbling over their words. The content of the training itself was very basic and didn't provide any new or insightful information. Overall, it felt like a waste of time and money. I would not recommend this training to anyone looking to expand their knowledge in witchcraft.

I had high hopes for the witchcraft training in my proximity, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The instructor seemed more interested in showing off their own skills and knowledge instead of actually teaching the participants. The class was crowded and it was difficult to get the individual attention and guidance that was promised. The training lacked depth and focused too much on the superficial aspects of witchcraft. I left feeling unsatisfied and regretful of the money I spent on this training.

The instructor had a decent amount of knowledge and shared some interesting information, but the overall organization of the training was lacking. While I did learn a few things, I don't think the training was worth the cost and I probably wouldn't attend another one like it.
