From Archenemy to Friend: Using the Wizard Hunt Spell for Diplomacy

By admin

The wizard hunt spell is an ancient and powerful incantation used to locate and track down wizards. Throughout history, there have been instances where rogue wizards have caused chaos and destruction, prompting the need for such a spell. It is said that the spell can only be performed by those with advanced knowledge and skill in the field of magic. The wizard hunt spell involves a complex series of rituals, ingredients, and incantations. The caster must gather specific items, such as a lock of hair or personal possession of the target wizard, as well as rare and exotic magical herbs and stones. These items are then combined and used in conjunction with a powerful incantation.

As the Fairy or Ninja Pig, note that your life-steal spells will ignore the enemy's Absorbs! Note this if you're up against a Krokomummy, Colossus, or Cyclops.

Rats have that annoying Myth minion which can ALSO cast the Djinni hit-all spell--same as its Rat master--so they re a close second to Fire Elves in terms of raw danger. mindset, and my team would easily win due to taking very little damage from hit-all spells, while our opponents--who of course targeted our healer first, ignoring our damage dealers--took huge amounts of damage from our team s hit-all spells.

These items are then combined and used in conjunction with a powerful incantation. Once the spell is cast, the caster can sense the presence of wizards within a certain radius. The strength and accuracy of the spell's detection vary depending on the proficiency of the caster and the resources used.

So what do you use as a wizard and why?

Main ways I know of hunting a wizard are the bolt spells, and either 519 or the 409/415 shit. I never liked 409/415 myself, and 519 doesn't seem to work worth shit in OTF. Seems like half the stuff resist it, I can't even get crit kills.

So far my best option has been the bolt spells, 904 usually, though I have tried some 906/908, and 906 has almost no benefit over 908 that I can see so far.

And a lot of the guys wind up having almost 500 bolt DS too, which is hard to get around sometimes.. a large waste of mana.

When I try and mana leech something, like adept or initiate, I wind up getting like 80 mana or less. wtf? Shouldnt I be able to get at least 100? They are basically capped npcs. 85+ anyways. Are they genned with a small cap on mana or something?

Do the wizard spells work a lot different in Nelemar than they do in OTF?

So far my bard seems to be 300% better and he has less than half the exp.

I'm going to have to call "you don't have fire lore" bs.

Rimalon 07-08-2008, 04:01 PM

Yeah, really. 202 ranks fire lore is easy button. One cast of 519 kills anything in Nelemar about half the time. If it's not instant, one 906 followup (with uber DF bonus) kills em dead. Such fun.

Nelemar > OTF, in all aspects.

I will be sure and post some shots here in a second. I didn't log the previous ones. Well, I don't feel like searching them out anyways.

And yes, there are 202 ranks of fire lore.

Griffins especially seem to resist fire still, and another adept or seer does too. Not sure I tried on the younger things since they die easier.

409 seems to work a lot better on the youngest stuff like scouts and jans. Get death crits much more often.

Did that death crit fuck you for BPs? Not to rub it in, but if it did, then its rather ironic that only death crit you got was on the grizzled one.
