Hocus Code-us: Using Programming in Modern Witchcraft

By admin

Kods witch btoom, also known as code witch boom, is a concept that combines coding and witchcraft. It is a popular trend among tech-savvy witches and practitioners of magic who are also interested in programming and computer science. The idea behind kods witch btoom is to use coding skills to enhance and streamline magical practices. This can involve creating digital tools and software to assist in spellcasting, divination, and ritual planning. For example, a kods witch btoom practitioner might develop an app or program that helps them keep track of moon phases, planetary alignments, and other important astrological information. In addition to practical applications, kods witch btoom also explores the deeper connections between magic and technology.

In addition to practical applications, kods witch btoom also explores the deeper connections between magic and technology. Many believe that coding and witchcraft share similar principles, such as the ability to create something from nothing and manipulate the world around us. The act of writing lines of code and casting spells can both be seen as ways to exert control and create change.

Witch Broom Painting

This week our Halloween Move & Create series is all about spiders and witches!! We'll be sharing at five cool activities with you that get kids moving around and creating.

Today we are sharing witch broom painting! This is a fun way for kids to paint and get in a spooky mood!

MATERIALS NEEDED FOR WITCH BROOM PAINTING:

  • straw
  • paper napkin or brown paper bag
  • tape
  • paint
  • paper
  • scissors

INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE A WITCH BROOM FOR PAINTING:

It is easy peasy to make a witch broom for painting! Just cut off a piece of a napkin or paper bag and use scissors to make a slits on one side (like a fringe).

Next wrap the napkin around the bottom of the straw and secure the napkin or paper bag in place with tape.

Now you are ready to paint!

Grab some paint and a piece of paper and use your witch broom to dip and swirl through the paint and create a fun picture on your paper!

If you find that your little ones really love this and oversaturate the brooms with paint, use pieces of foam to make the bottom of the witch's broom instead.

This activity is very open-ended and allows the kids to just enjoy time exploring their witch brooms and how they work on the paper.

We love to read the book (affiliate link) Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson along with this activity!

In addition to making these mini brooms it could also be cool to paint with a real life-sized broom! Have you ever done that before?

Make sure to check out our previous Halloween Move & Create posts HERE.

5. Lay the broom (because you now officially have a broom) on the ground and wind your twine around it. Once around where the elastic band is, and once a little below it. You need to pull the twine as tightly as possible. If you can't hear a few of the twigs cracking, you aren't doing it hard enough.
