Horror and babies are like chocolate and peanut butter — they go great together and end up messier than anyone predicted. That's especially true in the upcoming scarefest The Wretched. The IFC Midnight release isn't solely about children, though. It's mostly about a witch. And Ben (John-Paul Howard), the regular guy that's staying with his dad for the summer. But something terrible is going on next door and it's nothing but juicy shocking goodness for genre fans.

Writer/director Drew Pierce teams with his brother Brett (the pair previously worked together on 2011's Deadheads) to helm the horror story about Ben's growing problems with the upsetting family next door (who seem to be under some kind of thrall), giving their coming-of-age flick a deliciously nasty genre edge. Of course there's nothing like the nighttime haunts of a supposedly happy family, with a new baby on top of it all, to get the blood pumping.

Now SYFY WIRE can exclusively show off one of The Wretched's freakiest scares in this sneak peek. This may not be the most soothing viewing for those that happen to be stuck at home with a baby.

Reviews for "The Artistry and Craftsmanship of Rhythm Magic Motion Clocks"

1. Karen - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Rhythm magic motion clock. The advertised "magic motion" feature was lackluster at best. The clock barely moved, and when it did, it was very jerky and not smooth at all. The overall quality of the clock felt cheap and the design was unappealing. I expected more for the price I paid. Definitely not worth it.
2. David - 1 star - My experience with the Rhythm magic motion clock was highly unsatisfactory. The clock arrived damaged with scratches and dents on the surface. Additionally, the so-called "magic motion" feature did not work at all. I tried following the instructions and troubleshooting, but nothing helped. The clock itself looked flimsy and poorly constructed. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
3. Sarah - 2 stars - The Rhythm magic motion clock was a huge letdown for me. I purchased it because I was intrigued by the concept of a clock with moving parts. However, the movement was extremely loud and distracting. It made a constant buzzing noise that was impossible to ignore. The clock itself was also difficult to set up and adjust. I ended up returning it and opting for a more reliable and quieter clock.
4. Mike - 2 stars - I was really excited to get the Rhythm magic motion clock, but it failed to impress. The clock's movement was inconsistent and often went out of sync. Sometimes it would stop entirely, and other times it would move too fast. It was frustrating to constantly adjust and reset the clock. The overall build quality was also underwhelming. I would advise against purchasing this clock if you're looking for reliability and smooth movement.
