I was really disappointed with Sherwin Williams' Black Magic paint. The color looked nothing like what was shown on their swatches or on the can. Instead of a deep, rich black, it turned out to be more of a dark gray with a hint of blue. I had to apply multiple coats to try and achieve the desired shade, but even then, it still didn't look right. The finish also had a strange sheen to it that made the walls appear glossy rather than matte. Overall, I found the quality and color payoff of this paint to be lacking.
