I have been a fan of the Magic Tree House series for a long time, but "The seventeenth magic tree house novel" fell short of my expectations. The story felt rushed and unoriginal, lacking the depth and creativity I've come to love from this series. The characters lacked development, making it difficult to connect with them and become invested in their journey. I was also disappointed with the lack of historical context and educational value that the previous books provided. Overall, I found this installment to be lackluster and a step back from what the series had achieved.
