Step into a Fairy Tale: Christmas at Disneyland 1992

By admin

The magic of Christmas at Disneyland in 1992 was an enchanting experience for all who attended. As visitors entered the park, they were greeted with the aroma of cinnamon and pine, and the sound of festive music filled the air. The streets were adorned with sparkling lights and colorful decorations, creating a cheerful and festive atmosphere. One of the highlights of the Christmas celebration was the nightly parade, where beloved Disney characters dressed in holiday attire delighted the crowd with their lively performances. Mickey and Minnie Mouse, along with their friends, danced their way down Main Street, spreading joy and laughter. Spectators young and old lined the streets, eagerly awaiting a glimpse of their favorite characters.

If the amulet is worn while killing the Revenant maledictus as a top-damaging player, they will obtain the Forinthry Surge skull for 30 minutes, a variant that provides an additional 15 accuracy and damage boost when fighting revenants. You could give it the effects of the Ring of Wealth, or have it slightly increase the chances of getting certain drops this will probably mess with prices; a bad idea, the weapons are already plummeting.

Amulet of avarice

Spectators young and old lined the streets, eagerly awaiting a glimpse of their favorite characters. Another popular attraction was the beautifully decorated Christmas tree, standing tall at the entrance of the park. Covered in twinkling lights and adorned with shiny ornaments, it served as a symbol of hope and magic.

[Suggestion] Make the Amulet of Avarice actually useful

There are a number of issues with this Amulet, that make it completely dead content:

  • The Salve Amulet (ei) is far superior to the Glory at Revs, making the Avarice a huge stat downgrade if used
  • Wearing it skulls you, meaning you're basically forced to use a low-risk weapon like a Rune Crossbow, another huge downgrade (I don't have a problem with this; it's simply the tradeoff of skulled revs, however the final problem is really the nail in the coffin for the poor Avarice Ammy)
  • EVERY DROP AT REVS IS ALREADY NOTED!

Here, I looked at everything dropped by the Revenants, showing that the majority of drops are already noted or stackable: https://imgur.com/a/yYWX38T

This amulet will continue to be dead content as long as the Revenant drop table remains the way it is. I would propose one of two solutions:

  • Rework the Revenant drop table to contain less noted items. I'm really not a balance expert, but I'm sure your excellent QA team could help you out with that one.
  • Rework the Avarice itself. There are a number of ways you could do this, from allowing it to be merged with the Salve (ei), to making it a 1-click teleport in 30 Wilderness. You could give it the effects of the Ring of Wealth, or have it slightly increase the chances of getting certain drops (this will probably mess with prices; a bad idea, the weapons are already plummeting)

I'm not sure what the best solution is, but it's sad to see the Avarice lying in the depths of the wiki as a piece of neglected content, especially considering how recently it came out. I actually think this item is more useless than Thammaron's Sceptre. Please, Yagex, do something for my skully boy.

Sorry this isn't yellow text black background, I'll do better next time.
