Magic Sleek Conditioner is a popular hair care product known for its transformative effects on damaged and frizzy hair. It is a lightweight formula that is designed to hydrate and nourish the hair, leaving it smooth, shiny, and more manageable. One of the key ingredients in Magic Sleek Conditioner is keratin, a protein that naturally occurs in the hair. This protein helps to repair and strengthen the hair, making it less prone to breakage and damage. Additionally, keratin also helps to smooth the hair cuticles, resulting in a sleeker and shinier appearance. Magic Sleek Conditioner also contains essential oils, such as argan oil and jojoba oil, which are known for their moisturizing and emollient properties.

To Beshara, Magic Mind is not just a drink, but a lifestyle. “I’m barefoot with my feet in the sand on Venice Beach, while sipping some Magic Mind and staring at the ocean at inbox zero. It’s 11AM and most of my tasks are done for the day. This is far from where I was 7 years ago after developing an underlying heart condition,” says Beshara, a member of the 2015 Forbes 30 Under 30. At the age of 26, Beshara was diagnosed with a heart condition called Atrial Fibrillation. “It felt like I had butterflies in my stomach for three weeks,” says Beshara. After experiencing symptoms for an extended period of time, he finally took time to see a doctor who noted to Beshara that his heart rate was over 170 beats per minute (a normal resting heart rate falls between 60 – 100 beats per minute). An hour later, Beshara was in the emergency room getting a cardioversion - a medical procedure that restores a normal heart rhythm.

While Magic Mind only launched five months ago, the company has grown quickly to a 1 million revenue run-rate and on-track to profitability by the end of the year. After spending 13 years building companies such as Tilt, investing in companies such as Gusto, Halo Top, ThirdLove, and RigUp, Beshara s journey transformed him into the ultimate biohacker, resulting in his latest company Magic Mind.

Magic Sleek Conditioner also contains essential oils, such as argan oil and jojoba oil, which are known for their moisturizing and emollient properties. These oils help to hydrate the hair, reducing dryness and frizz. They also help to seal in moisture, keeping the hair soft and smooth for longer periods.

How This Under 30 Entrepreneur Moved From Software To Create Silicon Valley’s New Morning Elixir: Magic Mind

James Beshara’s life has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. After spending 13 years building companies such as Tilt, investing in companies such as Gusto, Halo Top, ThirdLove, and RigUp, Beshara’s journey transformed him into the ultimate biohacker, resulting in his latest company: Magic Mind. While Magic Mind only launched five months ago, the company has grown quickly to a $1 million revenue run-rate and on-track to profitability by the end of the year. In 2018, Magic Mind received $500,000 from Mike Maples at Floodgate, one of Silicon Valley’s leading seed-stage investors. Floodgate is the first investor in companies such as Lyft, Twitter and Twitch (acquired by Amazon).

While Beshara was reluctant to raise outside capital at the time, Maples insisted on being the first check into the company. He had known Beshara for several years before investing in Magic Mind. Through their relationship, Maples identified Beshara’s unique ability to spot and identify emerging consumer trends. After piloting several versions of the product, Maples increased his stake in the company when he realized Magic Mind was not just great marketing but a product that worked. “As someone who has the habit of drinking too much coffee, I found the product never got me wired like coffee but provided me with a sense of focus and serenity,” says Maples.

After experiencing symptoms for an extended period of time, he finally took time to see a doctor who noted to Beshara that his heart rate was over 170 beats per minute (a normal resting heart rate falls between 60 – 100 beats per minute). “What impacted me most is when the doctor asked how much caffeine I was consuming on a regular basis. When I told him I drink around 7 coffees a day, the doctor advised that stress and caffeine consumption can contribute to heart disorders such as atrial fibrillation,” says Beshara. Beshara was told he would need to restrict his caffeine consumption to 80mg or half a cup of coffee a day. “Once I checked the box of, I’m not going to die from this heart condition, I asked myself, how the heck am I going to operate a 50+ person company for more than 15 hours a day with only half a cup of coffee?” says Beshara. When Beshara’s doctor asked if he had ever tried green tea, which contains a compound called L-Theanine, Beshara’s biohacking journey began.

Beshara spent the next 6 months figuring out how to make 80mg of caffeine last him as long as possible throughout the day. After solving the problem for himself, he found that many entrepreneurs, operators, and early-stage investors were also facing a tremendous amount of stress and were depending on caffeine for productivity. His ambition of solving a personal problem quickly expanded to solving a much broader one for the industry. “I never drank coffee until I started building companies after graduating from Wake Forest University. In fact, I did not even really understand what stress was until I started my first company,” says Beshara. When applying to Y-Combinator for Tilt in 2012, Beshara recalled staying up all night consuming 3 Red Bulls. Over-caffeinating became an unhealthy lifestyle he depended on for productivity. This continued until his trip to the emergency room. At the time, he had no idea his journey would lead him to Magic Mind.

Beshara's Book: Beyond Coffee

Beshara’s entrepreneurial path transformed substantially from the time he founded Tilt in 2012 and the company was acquihired by AirBnB in 2017. Building Magic Mind versus building Tilt were polar opposite experiences for Beshara. “With Tilt, I remember sitting on a couch in Austin before relocating the company to San Francisco, thinking what’s the biggest idea I can develop around a social network for money. With Magic Mind, it started as a side passion to solve a problem I was experiencing personally,” says Beshara. Over the next 7 years, Beshara tested hundreds of different formulas to get the most out of caffeine for a healthy morning drink. In fact, he quickly became known as the residential expert in nootropics among many in Silicon Valley. It became such a passion that his blogging on nootropics became an Amazon bestselling book in health & nutrition published in Fall 2019 with expert co-authors, Dan Engle, MD and Katherine Haynes, MPAS, PA-C, entitled ‘Beyond Coffee’.

In 2018, Beshara rented a small commercial kitchen outside of San Francisco to create the pilot version — a powdered formula in a small bottle. The powdered bottles became known as James’ Magic Potion.

Beshara’s side project evolved to include 200 monthly subscribers who fell in love with his early-product. “This is when I realized I need to create a brand around this,” says Beshara. Six doctors helped Beshara finalize the initial R&D process for Magic Mind to include 12 ingredients: Ceremonial Grade Matcha, Lion’s Mane Mushrooms, Phosphatidylserine, Choline, Bacopa Monnieri, Turmeric curcumin, Ashwagandha, Rhodiola Rosea, Citicoline, Vitamin C, Echinacea, and Honey. With these ingredients, Magic Mind was born.

According to Beshara, Magic Mind was designed for long-term improvement in cognition, stress, and energy.

One of Beshara’s co-authors of Beyond Coffee, Dr. Engle, works with leaders in various industries and his clinical practice combines functional medicine, integrative psychiatry, neuro-cognitive restoration and peak performance methods. According to Engle, Magic Mind is one of the best cognitive formulas on the market. “Before I began working with James and team, the commitment to the highest quality ingredients and long-term sustainable approach to this world of nootropics and adaptogens was what impressed me most,” says Engle. Engle reports the science is clear with regards to these compounds. “You still need exceptionally high standards from a company looking to create a drink like this, and it’s the high standards that I’m most proud of when I interact with the Magic Mind team,” says Engle.

Magic Mind sources its ingredients from 12 locations throughout Asia and the United States. Beshara personally visited several locations to ensure maximum quality and to build direct relationships with the producer of his key ingredients. Each of the ingredients are shipped directly to a production facility in Upstate, New York where it is manufactured through an assembly line process. The boxing and packaging is manufactured in Utah and shipped to New York. “I wanted to go with small square bottles because of the resemblance of old vintage medicine bottles. It turns out there’s a reason all beverage bottles are round — the production equipment is built around round bottles, so by choosing square, we set ourselves up for new challenges with just about every aspect of bottling,” says Beshara. Ultimately, the team found a manufacturing partner willing to take on the Magic Mind project. This New York based manufacturer not only handles filling and labeling but also fulfillment. By finding a manufacturing partner vertically integrated across several areas of the value-chain, Magic Mind is able to provide its product to consumers at a better cost while ensuring optimal freshness and quality directly from the manufacturer.

Many have turned to Twitter and Instagram to sing their Magic Mind praises. The company built an organic following of more than 11,000 fans on Instagram, including several of Silicon Valley’s top investors, entrepreneurs and operators. Justin Kan and Kevin Rose are among these enthusiasts. In fact, after trying the drink, they reached out to Beshara to invest. “Before Magic Mind, I was a big coffee drinker but I switched to only decaf. Before trying Magic Mind, I was already looking for something different than coffee since it makes me too jittery and I can’t sleep well after one cup. After trying Magic Mind, I felt more focused,” says Kan. Magic Mind’s website also reports a number of users across companies such as AirBnB, Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL), Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL), and Superhuman.

“We are what we eat and drink,” says Beshara. While Magic Mind is headquartered in Venice Beach, California, Beshara runs the company remote with many of its team members scattered across the US. There is only about one meeting per week at Magic Mind. Beshara runs the company asynchronously. He built a company culture that reflects his desired mission for improved focus, less stress, and prolonged energy. As an outspoken advocate for founders and operators facing underlying mental health issues, it’s important to him that everyone manages their stress, anxiety, and moods more effectively.

According to Beshara, Magic Mind version 3.0 will be released on Thursday, August 27th. For those looking for a new healthy morning ritual, it appears focus is power and now it comes in a bottle.

Another important ingredient in Magic Sleek Conditioner is collagen. Collagen is a protein that is found in the skin, hair, and nails. It helps to promote elasticity and strength in the hair, making it less prone to damage from heat styling and environmental factors. Magic Sleek Conditioner can be used on all hair types, including chemically treated and color-treated hair. It is safe to use on a daily basis and does not contain any harsh chemicals that can strip the hair of its natural oils. To use Magic Sleek Conditioner, simply apply a small amount to wet hair, focusing on the ends. Leave it on for a few minutes, allowing it to penetrate the hair shafts. Then, rinse thoroughly with water. Overall, Magic Sleek Conditioner is a highly effective hair care product that helps to repair, moisturize, and smooth the hair. It is a must-have for anyone looking to achieve sleek, frizz-free hair..
